Default reintroducing myself

Hello all, I am Jim and i am manufacturer representative here in Indiana for the Plumbing world. I am not a Plumber so if this is not allowed then let me know. I am not here to do any sales or try to sell anything, I am here to help anyone with problems with any of the lines we represent. I have not logged on in a while so i thought i would say hello again.

Welcome Royals to PZ!

I have a question for you. What's the deal with the new A.O. Smith Electric water heaters? We noticed the jackets don't seem to be as thick and it appears they did away with the spray foam insulation.

Default Plumb Crazy

A.O. Smith changed that to more of a standard height to get a true 40 or 50 gallon because they were a little less.

I don't doubt that's the party line, but as a plumbing company who has been loyal to A.O. Smith for many years, not buying it.

I believe the 52 gallons gave you the full 50 gallons. Cutting back on quality to give a little more in storage seems counterproductive. However, like the new stickers on the box offering contractor rewards.

Hey ask them when they will be letting out more info on that Voltex Heat Pump Water Heater to while you are talking to the AO Smith bunch....

I saw a press release a while ago but haven't heard or seen anything since.
I can't find anything on their website...

Details man... Details!
