Default plumber from Alaska saying Hi

Hi everyone. Started down this plumbing career about 7 years ago. Did my apprenticeship through Associated Builders and Contractors. I obtained my Journeyman/gas fitter card almost 2 years ago. Im now in the process of obtaining my Administrators license for residential/hydronic heating.

I have done mostly new residential rough in and trim out with about a year of commercial. Only in the past year have I really been exposed to Boilers/radiant. Laid lots of radiant though just never saw the boiler end of things.

Im very eager to learn more about Boiler operations/theories and wiring.

Because of the current Job market I have been taken out of plumbing for now. I hired on with a bathroom remodel company and for the most part I will only do bathroom related plumbing so to keep my mind fresh I joined IAPMO and this forum. Hopefully between IAPMO meetings and this, I can at least learn something and stay current.

I wouldnt mind meeting plumbers in my area either!

Thanks,
Matt B
