Hello to everyone.
I'm very happy that I discovered this forum with so many good people. At first, let me briefly introduce myself I intend to move in Toronto in April (I got immigrant visa) and I want to continue to work with heating systems. I work as a heating mechanic in my country (Macedonia) for more than 5 years. My main duties were in installment of hydronic heating systems (laying pipes in walls/floors, mounting radiators, laying pipes/tubes for radiant floor heating etc.) mostly with copper piping, but also and with PEX and Pex-Al-Pex (aluplast) At first I thought I belong to HVAC trade, but since I have experience in hydronic heating only, I realized that in Canada (and also in the US) that is plumber's work. I hope that people at this forum would help me adapt more quickly in a plumbing trade and give me advices regarding my career options p.s Sorry for eventual grammar error |

Thanks for all the welcomes, nice to be here on this forum
![]() I hope I'll fit ok in this trade in Toronto. My main concern is if somebody would hire me with my experience, since I have worked with hydronic heating systems only. I don't know if this profile of worker is common in Ontario... Anyway, we are counting days, only 14 till day D............ ![]() |
