Newbie - Plumbing Zone

Lurked on the forum half a dozen times or so over the year. Finally had a chance to sign up lastnight. Hopefully I can contribute here and there.

Update! I quit, too much sheit.

I finally got 5 minutes to update my info

3rd generation plumber, of new construction.
Did not inherit a plumbing company from family, grandfather still runs 2 guys around.
Started my own my company in 2003
2004 and 2005 were my best years (2 total employees)
2006, 2007, 2008 sucked (just me)
end of 2007 started to do more service advertising, etc.
2008 did more advertising $2,000 a month
2009 did even more advertising $3,000 a month
2010 cut back my advertising. to around $2500 month.
I finally hired some again at the beginning of 2010.
New Guy, not as versed as I anticipated but is eager to learn and does not complain and shows no signs of hating what he is doing.
He did alot of drain cleaning at his old job.
Plus for me and him as I have been meaning to get a machine.
Sometimes I wish he would say he does not know how to do it.
Still having trouble getting estimates done.
Looking to possibly hire another guy (has to be a Journeyman and a minimum of 5years experience.)
Looking to get a Sewer Camera this week.
