help! i would like to introduce myself but i got a brain fart and could not figure out how to do the introduction. my wife was no help so i asked the dog and since skippy does not speak human she could not answer. whew, that was long winded. humm were was i, oh ya, been plumbing since the 70's, got my journymen's license in 1986 i think, state contractor license in 1987 i think- can't really remember. anyway i do remember the license number cfc044135 because in florida if you do not put your license number next to anything with your company name on it you get a $300.00 fine for each occurance. i am 60 now, i hope to make it to 62 so i can collect social security before all the money is spent! i still get excited doing a great job for my customers. family (5 kids-3 work in my company) wife i picked up over the phone in 1969-gotta love the 60's. anyboby old enough to remember the 60's has to love just being alive. what a great time i have had. been to china-they absolutly love all americans there. crap where was i? oh ya-this the very first time i have ever posted anything on the internet-i usually just lurk in the shadows because most men my age have a hard time with anything new, like the introduction to a plumbing forum. anyway i want to thank everybody in advance for all their questions and answers on this forum as i have read many inspiring words that have perswaded me to take pen in hand and type out the hopefully amusing introduction. by the way i have a hard time figuring out the abreviations used here but you can teach an old dog new tricks. i am learning-----lol----- hope to hear from you. thanks niteowl. ps, i will post my avatar as soon as i someone tells me how to do it-not you skippy.

thanks plumbcrazy-i printed out the initials and their meaning so i can cross referance their use in future posts. it is amazing to me that so many would even bother to respond to someone elses question so freely as they do on this forum. i hope to be able to respond myself in a way that will benefit those who have chosen to ask. i have to admit that i have read some very funny things that have made me lmao!!!!!!!!! see i can be taught new tricks. thanks again.
