Default Hi, everyone

Hi, everyone. I'm living in Canton, OH, but am looking to move to either the Oklahoma City or Wichita Kansas area next year. Which one depends on where the economy is better. Then look to join the United Association afterwards for either the plumbing or HVAC apprenticeship.

Not as much today as years ago. Many of the steel mills have been shut down but some of the big ones are still up and running, especially in Canton. One of the ones in Massillon that was shut down years ago has been torched on several occasions. Sad to see them going by the wayside, but in some ways it was inevitible. I dont see Timken going anywhere anytime soon though.
