Default AO Smith PHPT-80

I am looking to buy a brand new PHPT-80 AO Smith water heater. That is a heat pump water heater. We are in central florida and have exhausted all resources. AO Smith got hit by the flooding so the heaters they had in stock are destroyed. We are willing to travel pretty far to pick this up. We originally found one in Kentucky. But when we told them we were going to pick it up they said they needed to have it shipped in from NY. That is a little too far to travel and too long of a delay. Please contact me if you have one or know for fact where i can get one. Respond to this post or call me at 800-724-7182.

If i cant get the water heater by Thursday 5/20/10, i dont need it. Customer will cancell by then.

Thank you in advance.

Why not sell them a solar heater? That heat pump costs as much as a solar does and is 800% LESS efficient.......Just .02 from a fellow central Florida guy.

The just came out with that model, no supply houses stock them yet.

Does it have to be THAT heat pump water heater? Not Rheem or Stiebel Eltron? If so Why?

Rheem hase only a 50 Gallon. Stieble Eltron i can get from a local distributor, but customer does not want that brand. State is the same as AO, so i have same issue there. We normally install solar water heaters. For whatever reason, they do not want to go solar. Although, worse came to worse i will probable push that route if everything else fails
