Default Here's mine

My partner won this at an auction thinking he was bidding on one of the many "modern versions" that were being auctioned off. 3 bills for a paperweight. Hell it probably would work in the field but I would have to do some testing to make sure its still accurate.

talked to a fellow yesterday, said this get up would sell for 200.00-300.00, but if sold seperately the old wooden tripod would go for that much alone. He said the wooden tripods were hot items to collectors of this stuff. If he can hook me up I will unload it. Of course the fellow I got it from said to do whatever I wanted to with it. That was understood before hand, or I never would have taken it.

That is probably way more accurate then many of the new ones out there

My buddy the mason has an oldie, from like the 60's. I laughed when I first saw it. Then, we built my garage. Told him we should use a laser. He told me to shut the eff up. He was 1/16" out of level in a 60' span. Dropped the plates and went to town.
