Default Thought I saw (heard) it all.

Arrived at a customers house this AM, to finish replacing a rotted and leaking lead closet bend.

There is a big long black stretch limo sitting in the driveway. So, we knock, and the customer answers the door. We chat briefly, and she say's she is on her way out.

Now, she is dressed in like sweat pants, nothing special. Certainly not special enough to be jumping in no limo.

So we get it done and roll out. This afternoon, there is a message on the machine. "Sorry I did not get back from physical therapy soon enough.......".

We were called in after another plumber told her that the bathroom needed to be gutted to repair the water stain in the ceiling below. They did not open the ceiling. Simply pulled the wc, saw the lead bend, and condemned it. Threw out a big number.

I am starting to think I did not charge enough............
