Just starting to snow here. Now they say we will get 6 to 12. Keeps going like this I may as well move back to maine. I broke down and started filling in job apps again. I will keep the business open on evening and weekends. Might even start advertising evening and week end rates as same price as a regular work week.

Al, You know the first day on the job the phone is going to ring off the hook. As soon a your boss hands you the mop your going to break it over his head and say this aint worth it. Quit and the phone stops ringing at the time. Odd how God or the Universe plays games with us.
The hardest thing to do is work for someone after being self employed like a captain without his ship and he's not listing to nobody.

That is exactly what I told the wife. One of the jobs I applied for is doing storm water maintenance for the city. That would be a good job with good benefits and they very seldom work over 8 hrs which would be good for running evening and week end calls for my business. They also get all holidays off also. I don't want to do it but I will go under if I don't. Just have to do what you have to do. with a little luck and God's help things will pick up soon. The weather and the economy are such a big factor right now too.
