Quicken is geared toward personal finances and Quickbooks is for businesses.

I have used both for over ten years and both are very user friendly.

Don't know if this carries any weight since I'm dumb as a sack o' nails when it comes to this sorta thing but from my research (and some opinions on PZ) I'm going with Quickbooks.

I just upgraded form QB 2006 to 2010. While I hate intuit & QB in general, the improvements over 4 years actually appear to have added up to something (unlike most of their normal yearly updates).

If you tend to use a lot of inventory and want to track all the little parts, use QB 2010, since the item editor is a lot more user friendly. That's been a big thing for us.

I'm using QB but like many others here, learning lots of new tricks all the time.
