I diagnosed a situation and pitched a price ($245.00) to a landlord a month ago. He frowned at the price and asked me how much the parts were and the labor. I told him the parts were about $45.00 and the rest labor. He got all cocky and said: I could retain a lawyer for that price. He then asked the wrong question. Can you write down what I need and tell me how to do it. I horse laughed at him and said, Yeah, for $245.00. He said, All I'm asking for is some information. I said, Go to a lawyer and ask him for some free information? I think he got the point. I told him that the only difference between a plumber and a lawyer is we do our schooling in the field instead of the classroom. 4 yrs. for a journeyman, then 2 more for a Master. Thats just to be eligible. Needless to say, I didn't get the job. Didn't want it by then.

Had a guy call me yesterday wanted me to come out and camera his line for free since he unstopped his own sewer and did all the work. I told him that when I get my camera for free and get free gas I would be right over.
