Default Crazy Customers

I was on a job deliming 5 tankless water heaters, when I get these two calls.

First call home owner states we replaced the gas control valves on their two Bradford White water heaters January 5th. Now one of the valves is blinking a code, and she wants me to send a plumber out at no charge to her cause she paid us enough the first time around. I explained to her she still has to pay us labor, but I am willing to wave the service call we will just put them back on the clock. She then gets all bent out of shape telling me we should not charge her anything. I explained to her the parts are warrantied by the manufacture we have no control over them going bad or other parts on the water heater may have gone bad since we been there. The reason we changed these gas valves was they where flashing a code (I forget what the code was) that stated defective gas valve replace. I asked her if it is the same code she said no. The code had to do with units vacuum switch for the power vent. So I explained to her again it is totally a different part of the heater and needs to be troubleshooted and repaired and we have to get paid. She then told me do not bother sending a guy out and hung up.

Second call lady from a dentist office wants a second opinion. She telling me that during the thaw and or rain the ceiling tiles in their unit gets wet. I explained to her it sounds more like a roof leak to me than a plumbing issue. But is she want me to send a guy out to verify if it is a plumbing issue or a roof leak our rate is $140 for the first half hour and $80 per half our there after. She replied with "Do you give free Estimates?" I explain to her that if she knew what was leaking I could give her a ball park figure, but since you do not know what the leak is and we need to send a plumber there to troubleshoot they need to pay us for our time. She goes on telling me she feels they do not need to pay for a plumber to come out and just look around. So I came back asking her if they take x-rays and look into a patients mouth with out charging an examination fee? She then gets all snippy and said she does not want to get into this with me and hung up.

I also been getting lots of price shoppers calls for the Bradford White M4-50 water heater. Only one supplier in my area has them in stock.
