Site slow down? - Plumbing Zone

Its about 10 PM Eastern time and since about 6 this evening the site seems to have slowed a bit. Or perhaps its my pc?

Not your pc, could be a server slow down. I to see this going on.

Really? I haven't noticed anything.

One thing to check is if www.contractortalk.com and www.diychatroom.com seem slow as well. All the sites are on the same server right now.

Is it hanging on anything specific? As in, does it load to a certain point and then hang?

It seemed when loading the main page, but it's not doing it now. Maybe a fluke.

had same problems with CT, but today everything seems to be running good.

Well, if you see it slow down again let me know so I can check it out on the backend. Hopefully we aren't in need of a better server again.

Its loading really slow for me everyday lately. Even when other sites are loading lightning fast.

I just opened a ticket with the webhost to see if they can tell what's going on. We have a beast of a server that I got about 6 months ago... maybe we just need a memory upgrade or something.

We will be adding 4GB of RAM to the server in a few days for a total of 6GB. Hopefully that will help with the load.
