Default Strange things that happen in life.

There is no logical reason why leads coming into our office change from 50+ leads per week to maybe 5. It is not caused by tax time, holidays, nor the weather, but I do believe there is some mysterious force that causes things to happen.

Last year, I was at a lake and had an imtimate dream about a girl who I never had any physical attraction for. She was absolutely not my type. I woke up in our motor home and told my wife about the dream. About one minute later, this woman I had the dream about was walking down the street we were parked on. I had not seen this girl for several years, never told her about this lake, and never knew she even went to this lake.

About six months ago my wife woke up in the morning, called one of my employees and asked him to stop by our apartment building because she had a dream that someone stole one of our washing machines. Sure enough, someone stole a machine.

A few weeks later, she had a dream that her father in the Philippines was sick and went to the hospital. Sure enough, she called and her father had been rushed to the hospital. This was the first time her father got sick and we had no prior knowledge about his illness.

Don't just chalk these things up to coincidence . There is no such thing .

I too often have " premonitions " ,,,, nothing BIG just little stuff and it seems to always "happen" in some way .

We ALL have it . Just if we ignore it or not . Kinda cool stuff

Default I think it is an electric current of some type like radio waves.

This happens almost every day. The phones won't ring for a very long time. I am sitting in my office concentrating on something and reach to pick up the phone a split second before it rings.

I will be in the office and the phone won't ring for a few hours. It can be any time of day, or a Sunday evening, and suddenly two or three lines ring at exactly the same time. This happens so many times it cannot be coincidence.

I don't believe that business gets slow because people are doing their taxes, nor because of holidays, nor because of the weather, vacations, nor any logical reason. Most of the people we do business with are retired. They don't go on vacations, they don't have big families over for the holidays, and doing taxes takes only a few hours.

I can't figure out why we clean no less than 40 sewers and drains every week and then we get only 10 clogged drains in a week. Do drains go on vacation?

People don't stay home much in California. We have a list of 6,000 active customers we did jobs for going back to about 1985. That was 24year ago, so if our average customer was 45 years old at the time, they are about 70 years old today. We call the customers on the phone for up to an hour at a time and not one customer answers their phone. I even called customers starting at 8:30 on a Saturday morning and not 1 in 10 customers answered the phone. So, I went to customer's homes starting at about 9 a.m. on a Saturday morning and nobody was home. This is very frustrating and it makes me wonder where these people are when they are over 70 years old.

I think less people stay home in California because the weather is warm. When I call my relatives in Massachusetts they are always home. We have a very different lifestyle in California and maybe people have ants in their pants and always have to be out and about.

I was getting audited by the IRS about 20 years ago and the auditor told me that people in California never cheat on their taxes because Californians have too many toys, motor homes, boats, and don't want to bother themselves with cheating. I thought that was a strange point of view coming from a person who actually does the audits.

I have a reoccuring nightmare that I went to hell and was forced to be a plumber for all my past sins. Then the alarm goes off and I find it is not a dream.
