I miss the farms where I use to live in southern PA. There's something to be said for the hard work they get up and do every day. In Lancaster, PA it was really interesting to see the Amish living the way they have for hundreds of years, not giving up their values and beliefs to fit in.

Which reminds me of something completely different. I respect their gentle strength. Helping their neighbors in need is a way of life. It's quite admirable.

I try to remember this in my own life. When given the chance to put someone down or pull them up, I much prefer to pull them up. When I
encourage someone on PZ, it leaves me all warm and fuzzy on the inside. Being thanked on a post is always a greater high than taking someone down a notch.

Guess it all goes back to The Golden Rule . . . treat others the way you would have them treat you. If we all did this, all the time, imagine what a better world we would have.

I miss the skin on skin contact I had with many women back in the day. The smells of the fragrances, the neat jewelry, individual critique of their mannerisms and habits, decor.

I could have that again but the weight range starts at 300lbs and sitting on my lap could mean a broken femur bone.

Not, good.

Lancaster County, PA about 40 miles southwest of me. Your right it's beautiful. And those other town names like "Blue Balls", "Intercourse", "Bird in Hand" ... Everybody should take a ride on the StrassBurg R.R. which passes right through the Amish farm land. Horse drawn plows -- and when a barn burns, a couple of days later a new one stands. All the surrounding Amish had a Barn Raising. You have to experience it to believe it.

Which reminds me of Craigslist's Handyman listings. Don't all women say that all men are useless? How can they be handy if that's the case. They obvioulsy have never heard of duct tape. Speaking of duct tape, it doesn't really fix EVERYTHING, and reminds me of a true story. I walked into a bar and saw my buddy Terry slumped over the bar. I walked over and asked him what's wrong. "Well," he says, "You know that gorgeous girl at work that I wanted to ask out, but got a hard-on whenever I saw her?"

"Yes"I laughed in reply.

"Well," Terry says, straightening up, "I finally worked up the courage to ask her out, and she agreed."

"That's great!" I say, "When are you guys going out?"

"Actually, I went our to see her this evening, but I was worried I'd get an erection again. So I got some duct tape and taped "it" to my leg, so if I did, it wouldn't show".

"Make sense" I say.

"So I get to her door, and I rang her doorbell. She answered it in the sheerest, sexiest, dress you ever saw."

"So.... what happened then?"

"I kicked her in the face."

Only a stupid woman would say all men are useless. A smart woman thinks it and swears the opposite.

Speaking of swearing, what do you think about Biden's choice words to the Pres. caught on tape?

Vacations are like colonoscopies, they are a pain in the ass, but they should be done.

Speaking of pain in the asses. Wonder where FB is?

Last I heard, FB was going to grace the cover of a magazine. I thought is was coming out last month, but I could be wrong. I sure hope I'm not wrong because someone on PZ will surely point it out. You could have been wrong on something a year ago and someone will bring it up again.

Such as life on PZ.

I would like to grace the cover of a plumbing mag but, I will resign to the fact that I will make my money as quietly as possible until retirement.....

Speaking of retirement, this coffee has me feeling like I need to go retire last nights supper. I wonder if the corn will come out today or tomorrow........
