On the AR., if you are going to leave it stock, or trick it out tactical, go with M4 convertible. If you don't get a steal on a Colt, you are going to loose money if you decide to sell or trade. I like the Bushmaster, but DPMS really is just as good. The parts are all made by the same companies to mil. specs. so law enforcement can use any manufacturer, and the public wants them. Pick a model out and I will put the word out I am looking. The prices you are seeing are some of the prices these dealers got stuck with when the prices skyrocketed back when Obama was elected. An AR that was going for $799.00 jumped to $1400.00 overnight due to a fear of your president. Now they are stuck with them. The prices are back were the should be. Economy is tough and that is the first toy to go. The Mini 14 is a good weapon on the reliability side, but they are heavy and not very accurate. A Mini 30 is your best investment on the Ruger carbine. I have a few of both.

.223 long, and yeah, all of them are full auto. I got stuck with them when the Effingham Police backed out of the deal to buy them.
