Default Clampetts go to Chicago

Went to city with the best code on earth (stir, stir) last weekend. I had forgotten what a PIA it is to navigate in. Here's some pics for your viewing pleasure. We will begin with the Sears tower. I was surprised to see water-less urinals on the top floor. They didn't go over too well in IL and were removed from the code.IIRC.

Also saw this building. Pretty cool metal work that was under construction. Wife took a picture out the moonroof. Anybody know what it is?

The sears Tower is now the Willis Tower, Sears sold the building. The tall silver building in the background is the Trump Tower, it just recently topped out, a 1/4 mile east of that is where they started construction on the Spire, all construction on it has been suspended.

If you were on Congress Parkway when you saw it, it is the Harold Washington Library, from the way the picture is cropped it's hard to say for sure.

There looked to be an apartment tower under construction south of the Willis tower a few miles. I think it was active?

Shedd aquarium basement level had some plumbing and fitting work going on. I flashed my union card and asked for a jobsite tour but the plumber that was there said no.

Also, there was a pretty big hospital job going in Oak Brook. They were working Saturday even.

We were looking for a garage an SUV could fit in at ten after five on Friday evening FINALLY found one NE of the Willis tower. There were a FEW people out and about at that time

I now remember why I only visit Chi town every 5 years.

I think that was the street. It was right before going under the chicago stock exchange.

I'll yell at the wife for you. She shoulda taken a better 45 mph moonroof photo.

Yes, that is Congress Parkway, so my answer is correct.

Sometimes my rugged good looks scare folks. Any future pics will carry a warning.
