Default ? On This brand of sewer camera UEMSI

I'm looking at ProCam DVD by UEMSI. Not bad like $5,500 bucks on screen counter 200 feet color. Not going self level don't know how reliable they are. Seems like an easy break and $$$
Anyone use them they look simple and tuff? They seem to fit my budget
Wife got full time job back Means I can start saving for a new camera again. God knows bank won't loan money.
I have been looking at so many different makes and models I have used See Snakes with RR But lets face it I can't afford to even look at one I can't see, touch or play with other cameras nothing even close to here no reps dealers nuttin. I can only look at them on a computer screen.

We had the uemsi where I worked before I didn't care for it it kept blowing fuses and the spring was to weak on it couldn't make any bends with it without it bending in half and the cables kink easy too. They might have improved on them since then this was a few years ago. I can probably give you a couple references on places you can apply for a loan and hook you up with the guy I deal with here in missouri where I buy all my sewer equipment. Just p m me.

The city of Naperville had UEMSI camera systems, they televise the homeowners sewer at no cost. Well I was on a job and got my rod good and hung up in the sewer about 90 feet out, but the line was open. So the city stuck their camera in to see what the deal was. Turned out it was just tree roots, as he pulled the camera back out the screen went dark. The one village guy said to the other "Do not tell me it came apart again." The other guy replied " No, it shouldn't of, I taped it up real good." So with that I marked them of the list of camera systems to buy.

After they got their camera out, and now I know i was not hung up in a broken pipe, I started up my rod and let the torque build up to where my cable started to look like a cork screw and BAM! the torque let loose and the cable was free once again. I pulled out cutter was still there. I used a different set of cutters to clear the roots, and pulled my SeeSnake off and shot the line it was spotless, like a new pipe.

You could just buy a used seesnake. alot of the time a used good brand is better than a new junk brand.

I see them on ebay but don't trust major purchase on ebay. I get equipment from Rabco but they stopped selling used cameras due to warrantee issues last I called. But I"ll keep looking. I'm going to keep saving and try at Pumper cleaner show I really want to go to one.

I bet I can find a see snake with VHS but no one uses them and citys won't accept vhs anymore DVD only. Would love to go digital with DVD good for keeping records even if ho or commercial does not want copy.

Thumbs up Uemsi Saved My Butt

I WAS TRYING TO CLEAR A SIMPLE BASEMENT FLOOR DRAIN WITH A SNAKE. FIGURED IT WAS CRAP FROM THE CLOTHES WASHER TUB. COULDNT GET IT TO DRAIN.
SO, PICKED UP A UEMSI CAMERA SYSTEM WITH IT'S CH-3 CAMERA. LIT THE PIPE UP LIKE DAY!!! SAW THAT THE HOME OWNER'S GRANDKID HAD FILLED TO DRAIN WITH MARBLES! NO PLUMBING SNAKE IS GONNA GET THROUGH MARBLES! SAVED ME BIGTIME!
I HEAR THEY HAVE SOME COOL SELF LEVEL CAMERAS, DVR CASES WITH FLAT SCREENS, AND A NEW P+T ZOOM THAT ROCKS!!! SAW THEM AT LOUISVILLE! GREAT GUYS. THEY ARE ALSO BUILDING A TINY CAMERA FOR RESIDENTIAL SINKS AND DRAINS.
DON'T WRITE THESE GUYS OFF YET. I SURE LIKE THEM. ONCE THE ECONOMY GETS BETTER, THEIR THE FIRST GUYS THAT I'M CALLING.

I might be selling my Gen-Eye 2 soon. I am in the process of getting another reel for my seesnake. I have a seesnake mini and a regular size Gen-Eye 2 but it will be nice to use 1 monitor for both reels. the Gen-Eye 2 has been a great camera and still is.
