Hey all,
Just posting a review mainly for the Residential plumbers out there. I just bought a pair of Blundstone Safety boots. They are awesome!!! Full leather, slip-on, slip-off. They have electrical protection and most important they are comfy and look great...in fact when wearing jeans they don't even look like safety boots. I don't think I'll be buying any other boot from now on. Hope this helps anyone looking for a good pair of boots. FYI I paid $190 CDN Andrew |

Blunnies are great, if you have a D or E width. I only wear mine when I work at the nukes, because they don't have a steel shank, to make the metal detector alarm. Otherwise, you take your boots off, put them thru the fluoroscope and walk in your stocking feet thru what everybody else tracked in. My feet are narrow and I can't wear the Blunnies on a daily basis.

[quote=Matt;100072]What do they look like if I'm wearing shorts?
You would like an Aussie. That's a typical "matey" look, shorts with everything. Business dudes leave slacks in the office and wear a coat and tie with shorts to the office and then put on their pants. Remember Steve Irwin or Crocodile Dundee? |

No not a spammer just trying to let other guys know about them. Actually I don't do a lot of reviews but these are awesome!
No they are not just for Residential guys but as we kick our shoes on and off over 10 times a day that is the main reason I love them. If I was a commercial guy I think (just guessing) that I would like to have nice tight boots. The Blundstones are snuge but not tight. Hope this helps ![]() Andrew |

Enjoying the confusion

If you were a smart residential plumber you'd wear boot covers rather than remove your boots, especially if they are SAFETY BOOTS. When you enter a home does the potential of injuring one of your feet suddenly disappear? |
